Summer Reading Program 2025

LEVEL UP AT YOUR LIBRARY

Arcade Machine Illustration.png

This year's Summer Reading Program theme is "Level Up at Your Library." The goal is not only to get your children reading during the summer months, but also to keep their problem solving skills sharp. Whether that be through video games, board games, outside games, puzzles, or even choose-your-own-adventure books!

We've taken the theme and partnered with the Dover Library's Reading Dragons Program to create a trading card game for us to all play together at the end of the summer. Each week, the prize for reading will be a set of dragon trading cards (with some color variations). In addition to the weekly rewards, there will be special trading cards as rewards for going to a Summer Reading Program Event! The event trading cards have been specially designed by Miss Dee over the past couple of months to match our events (She also designed the arcade machine, isn't she talented?). At the end of the summer, you will be a Master Dragon Reader and everybody should have a complete set of cards to mix and match with your friends!
