Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30pm - The Museum of Work & Culture presents the compelling story of immigrants who came to find a better life in the mill towns along the Blackstone River. The Museum on the Road program will recreate this journey, beginning in a Quebecois farmhouse before making your way to the workday world of Woonsocket at the turn of the century. The presentation will explore the lives of immigrants at home, work, and school through props, visual images, and collaborative discussion.

No sign up is required for this event. This event is suitable for ages 7 and older.

September 1st through October 31stWe are starting to accept old costumes you’re no longer using for our October Halloween Costume Swap. Drop off costumes now until October 31st and starting in October, pick out a different one! Costumes must be clean and in good condition. Anything left at the end of October will be donated.

Come by Clark Memorial Library and see our new Story Walk! An Eagle Scout Project created by Margaret Bryson. Read page by page while taking a leisurely stroll in our yard! ​
 

Our current story is A Pocket Full of Kisses by Audrey Penn. Have fun! :)

We have a library pass to the Save The Bay: Hamilton Family Aquarium! The pass can be checked out from Clark Memorial Library for 1/2 price admission for up to two adults and four children. It is required that you return the pass to the circulation desk the following day during regular business hours.

The aquarium is located at 23 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840. www.savebay.org/aquarium

Express Books can be found on the New Books shelf. They are highly in demand books that can be checked out by our patrons for 7 days with NO renewals. Anything overdo will be fined 0.25 cents per day. These books are unable to be placed on hold.

Fax, Printing, and Copy services are available at Clark Memorial Library.

Fax Fees are $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page.

Copier/Printer Fees are $0.20 per black and white page.

Our Fiber Arts group is meeting on Tuesdays at 2 PM.  Bring a project to work on.  Beginners Welcome!
